The Board approved the following changes on July 22, 2021:
Effective immediately, management will implement a zero-tolerance policy including a fine for each offense for anyone using the pool outside of normal operation hours. The pool opens at 8:00 am and closes at 8:45 pm daily.
Effective immediately, management will implement a zero-tolerance policy including a fine for each offense for anyone who abuses the use of their registered key fob, including but not limited to giving it to an unregistered user.
Effective immediately, management will implement a zero-tolerance policy and a fine for each offense for anyone who verbally and/or physically abuses any contractor while working in our community including but not limited to spitting, throwing objects, threatening violence, making physical contact with contractor personnel, and/or equipment, profanity, threatening, yelling, derogatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, socioeconomic status, physical or mental abilities, etc.

We are pleased to announce that our roads will be receiving seal coating this year as part of our ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance our property. This essential maintenance process is conducted every five years to ensure the longevity and quality of our roads. Our dedicated crews will begin the seal coating work by the end of this month to improve the infrastructure of our community. For more comprehensive information, including a detailed calendar and map, please refer to the attached documents. We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. You can find this information and all updates posted on the community mailboxes, at the clubhouse, on the website, and on the Facebook page. New Rule/Regulation Update:
As of June 8, 2020, the Board has voted to adopt a new rule that drones or any other remote control flying devices are prohibited to be flown anywhere on the property for safety and privacy reasons. Violators will be subject to fines in accordance with the Association's policy guidelines for violations. Please see your handbook for more details.
The Board adopted an amendment on June 25, 2020, regarding the rule prohibiting fire pits which can be found in your handbook on page 29. Effective immediately there is zero-tolerance for having and/or burning a prohibited fire pit. Residents will be assessed a fine on their first offense. This amendment was adopted for the safety and protection of our residents and property.
Rental Units
There is currently a freeze on rental units in the community. According to the Twelfth Amendment to the Declaration of Condominium, Blendon Park Condominiums has a 5% cap on all rentals. Homeowners may NOT rent a unit without written permission from the Board.
Attention Drivers
Blendon Park Condos will be under radar surveillance beginning November 1, 2018. Violators will be subject to Association fines and all fees to process the speeding ticket.
Pet Information
Please clean-up after pets when walking them and properly dispose of all waste. Please remember to leash all pets while walking them through the community and note that pets must be personally attended as well. See section IV, L on page 2 of the handbook for additional details on our pet policy.
Additional Information:
The key fobs are available for pick up at the clubhouse. The best time to register is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm, and Thursday is best between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Please call first to confirm management is available. Appointments are accepted.
1. Every unit will be assigned one key fob.
2. One additional key fob is available for $25.
3. Replacement key fobs are $25.
4. Key fobs may be used by residents only.
5. Blendon Park will only accept checks for additional key fobs and replacements.
6. Checks must be made out to Blendon Park Condominium Association.
7. The Clubhouse and Fitness Center will be open every day from 4:00 am to 12:00 am.
8. Anyone entering or exiting the building between closed hours 12:00 am and 4:00 am will be responsible for the fines they incur from the City of Columbus Police Department and the Blendon Park Condominium Association.
